Wisconsin Neonicotinoid Workgroup

This logo suite was created for an outreach group that focuses on developing materials and presentations for the use of education about neonicotinoids.

The primary logo pulls its design inspiration from bees, a common insect affected by neonicotinoids, and Thiamethoxam, a common neonicotinoid. I created a modified typeface for the logo which makes use of double bond lines seen in hexagonal chemistry illustrations, and in this why connects the logo mark with the typeface. The colors for the logo suite are inspired by common colors found in nature, relating the logo back to the primary ecosystems neonicotinoids effect.

This logo suite uses clean lines and simplicity to make it easily readable at any scale and to show off the professional backing of the outreach group which is primarily made up of researchers and scientists.
